afghan teaser

This is what I'm working on now!! I've crossed out the pieces I've already completed. I was looking for an afghan, and I came across this one- the sample picture looks just like my bed!! It was fate. So I'm around halfway done. I'll let you know when it's all the way there!

YARN!

So this is all my spare yarn!! I'm thinking the third-from-bottom row, with the yellow/white/blue/cream/pink will all go into one baby blanket. It'll be like the rainbow wave blanket, but with color rows of varying thickness.

The stuff in the bottom-right corner (rusts, blacks, greys) were not purchased by me. Okay, they were, but it was through eBay. Actually, all those baby colors came from the same shipment. It's not a yarn type I'd pick for myself- it gets tangled with itself so easily, in a way I'd never have thought possible. But anyway, let's start some projects!! (okay no, I'll finish what I've started first... maybe)

Rainbow fishie scarf

It's not called a "fishie" scarf, but that's what it reminds me of!!

I've used this yarn before a ton of times, but it's just so soft and pretty!

I'm working on one that is smaller, side-to-side, and knitted on smaller needles. It's much tighter. Easiest pattern ever!!

purple baby blanket

Above is the front (?) and below is the back. I like the back best!!

It's really a pretty purple-for-a-baby color. It wasn't a memorable pattern (as in, I always had to consult the pattern instead of being able to just pick it up anywhere), but it went pretty quickly. It is, of course, way too small for an actual baby. I'm working on it!

working mittens

This is going to be a mitten. Hopefully someday, it will have a partner.

The yarn is really pretty (and SOFT!!). It's from the Debra Norville collection, and it was 2 for five bucks. How was I supposed to pass that up? I wanted to post this work in progress because of the fact that it's knitted with 4-5 needles at a time!!!!

The pattern, for my future reference: http://dailyskein.wordpress.com/2009/11/30/cabobble/

bad hat, Harry

It pains me to share this. hahaha. It is a hat, I swear. It has tassles.

The pattern is from lionbrand.com, and it's probably a good one, but I made some "adjustments." Let's move on.
