This was a really simple scarf that has hand cuffs (and thumbholes) at each end. It's knitted end to end on circular needles. It was my first exercise in a new way of binding off. When the scarf itself is as wide as you want it, you keep knitting at both ends, which requires you to bind off almost the entire length of the scarf while both ends stay knit-able. I finally found out what stitch savers are used for!
The yarn is Red Heart, from Wal-Mart. Super cheap (in cost and appearance), but it was easy and quick to work with. It's pretty slippery on the needles.
